My DIY 'Vintage' Rolling Pin

My rolling pin has found a home above my stove and I love it there!
When I found an older vintage one for rolling dough, my brain went to churning and I decided to add some red paint to the handles to make it look vintagey
like the old fashioned ones you see like this.
I love the splash of color!!!

  1. I love the rolling pins with the red handles! I have one that belonged to an aunt and I use it if I ever roll out something (which is about never!) Yours looks cute with the rooster trivet on your stove!

    1. Hi! Just found your blog by following from another one. Its March 2013 as I write this. Cute site! Like the red handled rolling pin. We have a rolling pin that belonged to one of my husband's grandmothers. Do you mind if I save some of the décor (for ex. Live the Life you Love button and "Faith" env. just on my personal pc under pictures. I save a slide show of some of my favorite things to watch from time to time-not for selling etc. If not, I understand! petitepat@hushmail.com

    2. Hi Anonymous! Thanks for your sweet comments this morning!

The buttons that you are wanting to save actually don't belong to me! If you click on them it will take you to shabby blogs. I'm sure you can contact them and ask them!
