Smoothies for 2

Easy Smoothies
Smoothies are so yummy and I love trying different variations!
I did these today for the hubs and I and they are pretty basic.
Easy Smoothies
Frozen fruit~  your choice of rasberries, strawberries, peaches...etc (1/2 cup or so)
Bananas 2 or 3 ( chop and freeze them in a baggy for an even better smoothie)
Yogurt~  This is the American counterpart to the Korean version of yogurt.  I prefer using a regular 8 ounce of yogurt but this is what I had .
Juice

If I use a different frozen fruit I'll add in some canned peaches sometimes.

I use a food processor but a blender is great too.
Easy Smoothies
Blend fruit and juice together.
Easy Smoothies
Add more bananas or juice to desired thickness.
If my bananas aren't frozen I'll stick it in the freezer for a bit.
Quick and easy breakfast!

  1. We have started freezing our bananas too. It seems like we can never eat the entire bunch in time and frozen one's make the best addition to smoothies!

I'm also going to experiment with thawing frozen bananas for banana nut bread.

  2. I freeze bananas for smoothies too! Have you ever tried a green smoothie? You throw a handful of spinach in, but you can;t taste the spinach at all and it is so good for you. The hubby and I love them. I use bananas, pineapple, mandarin oranges, greek yogurt, and spinach....Yummy! Yours sounds delish too...may have to try them sometime...:)

  3. I love smoothies too! This looks yummy. I make a banana strawberry smoothie but I have never tried yogurt with it. I just use milk and ice cubes instead. I also toss in some protein powder and wheat germ.

Thanks so much for linking up to "Making Your Home Sing Monday" today! :)

  5. I love to make smoothies too. I make them like you do with yogurt, frozen fruit and fruit juice. I also learned of a recipe from a shop that makes them. They use just two ingredients: the V8 Fusion and Dole frozen fruit. I use the light Mango Fusion and frozen mangos. Very delicious!!
