5 Cleaning Supplies I keep in my Bathroom

I've finally got all stocked up with the 5 things neccesary for my daily Swish and Sparkle in each bathroom.  I was getting a little tired of carrying the cleaning supplies from upstairs bathroom to guest bathroom to basement bathroom so streamlining is putting a great smile on my face since it makes everything so much easier!   Oh~  and I found the small spray bottles at a beauty supply store and they are great quality and take up very little space!

So... here are my 5 things~!
Cleaning Supplies in my Bathroom
1. Homemade Glass Cleaner~
I've even added a drop of blue food coloring!  Love that!

2.  Homemade All Purpose Cleaner

3.  Powdered Abrasive Cleaner
I've not made the switch to a natural abrasive cleaner yet, so until I do, this meets our need.  I buy the cheapest that I can find which, in this case, was generic.

4.  Lysol Concentrate Disinfectant
I've gotta have Lysol for disinfecting!  I use it for my daily Swish and Sparkle where I wipe down the counters and the inside and outside of the toilet.     One bottle of Lysol will make 9 gallons of disinfectant cleaner~  a definite bargain!

5.  Cleaning Towels
We've gone paperless and haven't used paper towels for about 2 months.  These are cheapo washcloths that were purchased for showering that quickly made the jump to cleaning towels because they started fraying.  Since we're doing our best to live a frugal lifestyle,  we've tried to do everything the cheapest and most effective way possible.
I hope to post more about my Daily Swish and Sparkle soon!

  1. It's definitely a great help to have cleaning products where you use them! I just looked and am going to try your tile cleaner.

  5. loving the new font! (easier to read!) Im going to try your all-purpose cleaner. Ive tried a few recipes, but never really liked them. you could always just use baking soda for your abrasive cleaner. it works just as well:)

  6. We are kindred spirits, I knew it!! haha!

Keeping each bathroom stocked with the supplies to clean it right then and there revolutionized my life!

And, when company comes by unexpected, you can run in and spruce it up very quickly and noone has to know! LOL

  7. You are SO spot on Bugs and Sunshine!
It's so easy to dash in there and do a quick wipedown of everything when all is there to grab at a second!

I love streamlining and making life easy!!!

  8. I'd sure love you to come swish and sparkle my bathroom every day! Thanks for sharing your cleaning supplies with us. I love using natural DIY cleaners too, and though I'm a fan of using baking soda as an abrasive cleaner, my husband's still not on board when it comes to shower cleaning, and as Mr. Bathroom Cleaner, it's his domain, so we, like you, use cheap abrasives. Have a great weekend. Visiting from Christian Mommy Blogger.

  9. I love that you have made your own cleaners. That is one area that I have not ventured into yet, although I keep saying I want to. Maybe you'll inspire me! :)

I really want to make my own laundry detergent and I haven't done that either, although I have the recipe.

I keep saying I will and then I run out of something and panic and go buy some more, lol!

I'd love it if you'd consider linking this up with my "Making Your Home Sing Monday" post this Monday! :)

  10. Cleaning your home shouldn’t be very expensive, and I’m glad to know that you’re doing everything you can to make it as cheap as possible. Kudos to you on that brilliant idea! I’m also making my own homemade cleaners. But, for now, I’m using baking soda and vinegar as alternatives. +Skylar Cox

  11. So glad you stopped by Jelli! Love your name btw!

My swish and sparkle only takes about 2 minutes so there isn't anything special to it.

I've just started experimenting with homemade cleaners and am amazed at the money it saves and effectiveness too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
