I was able to hit my fave thrift store on Monday and came away with a few great things. I had MUCH more in my basket and started whittling away things the closer I got to the checkout since I've been trying to be very choosy even if something is cheap. Just becasue something is a good price doesn't mean that I have to have it!
I picked up these 6 basketweave cups for ..39 cents each and love them. 2.40 is such a great price!
When we usually have friends over I'm serving them in these delicate little teacups and one of them mentioned that he was afraid to break them. Since there were six of these mugs I had to take them home~!
And this sweet red tea towel almost didn't make it to the register but I figured 25 cents was a great price even if it sits on top of my counter.
I love my Sweetheart Red Kitchen!!!

Lil, how pretty the cups are and the little towel is my favorite color and pattern. Nice finds my friend.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I love red and white in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna! My kitchen is all red and I love that picnic pattern too! Thank you, as always, for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteMe three Momstheword! I love it too!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Holly and (I think) this is my first time here! My guys would like those white cups. I have so many "girly" dishes.
ReplyDeleteI love red too but then again- I love all colors. Color just makes me happy. ♥
I adore those mugs! Great price!
ReplyDeleteGreat prices on super cute stuff! I love how white can brighten up things so well.

My red kitchen makes me smile from ear to ear! I've never decorated so boldly before and I'm loving it so much!
ReplyDeleteI guess I can't serve these fellas on fancy schmancy china~ even though I don't have any~ lol!
Thank you so much Mecky! Love your name! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment!
ReplyDeleteThank you Thrifter Sisters for stopping by! I love a good bargain and I know you do too!
ReplyDeleteI love the new background!!! It makes things so cheery! Cute finds at the thrift store! The tea towel was DEFINITELY worth the 25 cents ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Shandy! It was this way originally and I like it much better. I changed the font since someone commented it was not easy to read.
DeleteOh, boy! You said, "Just because something is a good price doesn't mean that I have to have it!" My Mister is the exact opposite, unfortunately! Hey, I love your mugs - nice pattern, and great that they go with everything! Let's hear it for red + white kitchens, huzzah!
ReplyDeleteIt's a self discipline that I'm still learning Sue!
DeleteThanks for hosting and for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Great finds! I love both of them. Thank you for sharing at TTF.
ReplyDeleteThe price was definitely right. The cups and the towel are lovely. Red and white is always a perfect combination in the kitchen. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThank you Tammy! I love red and white!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "red kitchen". I am a color girl and red is my main accent throughout our little cottage.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean that "just because it's cheap, we don't necessarily need it". When we downsized to our little cottage we gave away so much and now we think, "do we really need it" before adding more clutter. Those mugs were a must though.
We are definitely thinking alike Art and Sand! This is my first time decorating with a pop of color and I really like it!
DeleteThank you so much for stopping by and for leaving a comment! Greatly appreciated!
Very nice! I love the cups and the towel. You have an awesome Thrift Store. I have a favorite but the dishes are not priced as great as yours :-/
ReplyDeleteI found you today at I Should Be Mopping The Floor's Linky. I hope you get a change to visit my blog and leave a comment, too.

Those cups are lovely, and so versatile. AND they look adorable in your red and white kitchen! The lovely little red check tea towel is adorable, too. What great finds, and at such a low price! Good for you.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you stopped by VMG! Our thriftstores can be pretty expensive and I love hunting for great deals. Sometimes it's difficult to find!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Haworth! I love finding a great bargain! Have a wonderful day!
